Subway Cars
We are expanding our subway line up and consolidating them to one page. Most models are produced on an "as ordered" basis, please allow 1-4 weeks for shipment. Decals can be found on the decal page and new decals will be released in early December to cover most subway/PATH models.BMT "Multi's"
These were 5 car articulated cars that were considered experimental. Only 30 cars were produced. They were built in 1935 by the Pullman Company and by American Steel, they lasted until 1961 before they were scrapped. This model will come prototypical in 5 car sets, and include cast windows and shells only. Trucks and chassis may be produced in the future.

These coaches were built in 1969 by the St. Louis Car Company. 100 cars were produced at a cost of $137,382.00 each, and are nearing the end of the life cycle, many are now used as artificial reefs.

Metal trucks - no wheels.
An aluminum frame to accept the Bowser drive is now available as well.

These cars were built in 1969-1970 by the St. Louis Car company, 400 cars were produced at a cost of $132,670.00 each and are still in service today.

An aluminum frame is now available as well to accept the Bowser drive mechanism.

These cars were manufactured by Kawasaki between 2001 - 2003 at a cost of $1,576,475.00 each. 212 cars were produced and are in service today.
This model is now available as a shell only in HO scale.

The aluminum frame listed below for the R160 will also work with the R143.
R160
The R160 is the newest subway model today. They were and still are being built by Alstom and Kawasaki. They were first produced in 2005 at a cost of roughly $1,314,000.00 each. The initial order is for 660 cars, but that may increase as the cars are delivered.
This model will come in kit form or as a shell only and is available in HO scale only.
It will include:
One piece body casting.
Chassis with full electrical detail.
Metal trucks.
Flush mounted clear window castings.
An aluminum frame is available that will readily accept the Bowser drive mechanism, part number 125120.
All Models are produced on an "as ordered" basis and will take from 2-4 weeks for shipment.
Decals are available.
Finished models will be offered in the future.
